Hometown Rock will be one of the most highly promoted compilation cd's for rock music fans from local bands in the mid-Michigan area. If your band plays rock, alternative, punk, metal, grunge or any hybrid of rock n' roll and considers home somewhere in mid-Michigan (which includes the Bay City, Flint, Saginaw, Mt. Pleasant and the Midland metro areas) than we want to hear your submission. Hometown Rock will be sent to specific radio station contacts, local and out of state labels and print/online media to help promote some of the best bands of mid-Michigan. | Bay City Music will accept submissions for Hometown Rock until November 30, 2007. Submission guidelines are as follows: 1. Bands must be located within the Bay City Michigan Metro area that includes Flint, Saginaw, Midland, Mt. Pleasant and areas in between. 2. All music submitted for review must be on CD. 4. All bands must submit original music. No cover songs or sampled music will be allowed. 5. If bands have a media kit, photos etc.. please include with submission. 6. Bands may submit up to 2 songs for consideration. If you are submitting songs on a multi-track CD please clearly indicate what song(s) is being submitted. 7. A panel of independant judges will review all submissions and place a minimum of 12 bands on cd. All submissions must be postmarked by November 30, 2007. Bay City Music |
