Lots of relationships, friends,and family Q: What's in your CD player, IPod? Hawthorne Heights Q: What other local band would you pay to see play? Why? The Red Kid Theory because I’ve all ready played with him and he’s ridiculously good! Q: What Non-local band would you pay to see play? Why? Saturday Night Scene from Long Island, NY because they play the same kind of music as me and they’re amazing! Q: How did you meet? We’ve been best friends since second grade. Q: Is there an interesting story behind the name of your band? Who came up with the name? Kyle started Common Crush after a string of bad relationships and break ups so he figured that relationships are just ”Common Crushes” Since that’s what he started writing about it was deemed appropriate. Q. Tell us about your first show together. We haven’t done a show together yet but Kyle has done a number of shows with the Red kid Theory and they were amazing! At the first show Kyle played with The Red Kid Theory, there ended up being over 130 people that came out for it. It was huge! Q. What have been the high and low points of the band so far? The high point was Kyle’s first show, Kyle recording his debum EP and ben joining on piano. No low points yet! Q: You are the first band to play a song on another planet for aliens that have never heard our music, you can play any song ever written, what would you play? Why? Eruption by Van Halen.
